IPIA announces Supplier and Buyer Event to be held at new FA Headquarters

Press release from the issuing company

Leading industry trade association, the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA), has announced that it is to hold its ‘Meet the Trade Buyer’, ‘Meet the Trade Supplier’ event this year at the FA’s new prestigious headquarters at St. George’s Park in Burton on Trent on 3rd October, 2013.

The event is ‘must attend’ for the Buyer and Supplier community, and is open to both IPIA and non-members. It will provide attendees with the opportunity for one-to-one meetings and the ability to establish new business relationships and network with others in the industry sectors.

Those attending will be able to have meaningful dialogue with both key trade buyers and suppliers, enabling them to establish new long-term business relationships, saving both time and money.

As a Trade Supplier attending the event, the advantages are that you meet carefully vetted trade buyers from print management companies, office suppliers, giftware distributors and creative agencies. The trade buyers have been carefully selected to ensure they are looking for new suppliers and are in control of this area of spend.

Last year’s suppliers commented, “For every pound we spent on the event, we have got £8 back so far. I picked up a contract worth £100K per annum, that’s a good ROI!”

For Trade Buyers attending, they will have the opportunity to spend the day meeting and conversing with innovative trade suppliers to help service their clients and offer them something new, and establish new working relationships.

Some of the comments from last year’s buyers included; “Excellent event for me and some good contacts made. Orders placed already. I picked up some superb ideas I can sell onto my clients.”

The suppliers attending the event will be drawn from the following specialist areas; Trade printers, data specialists, paper merchants, 3D printing, trade finishers, direct mail service providers, equipment suppliers, social media and cross media specialists amongst several others.

The amount of suppliers that offer the same specialism will also be limited to ensure maximum impact is provided.

Limited trade buyer places are available for this event, so those interested are advised to book now.

After the event, those in attendance can stay and continue networking into the evening, as the IPIA is holding its Gala Dinner, with after dinner entertainment and a four-course dinner and wine, making it an enjoyable end to a productive day of business meetings.

Commenting on the event announcement, IPIA Chief Executive Andrew Pearce, stated, “Myself and the IPIA team love working on this event because it delivers our core aim – to bring people together to do business. From a supplier perspective how many days in the year can you make one journey and meet over 12 key prospects? From a buyer perspective it is an excellent way of spending a day focused on meeting new suppliers and catching up with the latest innovations.”

Last year’s event attracted over 50 buyers and 30 trade suppliers when it was held at Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, providing valuable one-to-one meeting for those in attendance.

The event is supported by the dma.

Various fee packages are available for both events to both IPIA and non-IPIA Members, with an early bird booking discount of 20% available to those booking by 23rd August.
