Grand Image Acquires EFI Vutek QS3200

Press release from the issuing company

Hudson, MA - Grand Image has added direct to substrate printing to its already impressive list of offered services. The company, which is based in Hudson, Massachusetts, has in its fifteen years developed a strong reputation in large format printing. The new offering of direct to substrate printing joins a host of other highly sought services including dye sublimation and large format roll-to-roll graphics for billboards, banners, posters, and fabric graphics.

Grand Image has acquired the Vutek QS3200 printer for direct to substrate printing, a three-meter hybrid printer that has the ability to switch from roll to roll printing to direct to substrate printing. The machine produces 1080dpi images, which using direct to substrate technology are printed directly onto a variety of materials including coroplast, foamcore, aluminum, polycarbonate, and more.

The new direct to substrate printing service offered by Grand Image is coupled with other major developments including laser cutting and white-ink printing, offering a new host of possibilities for marketing materials and displays.

Grand Image is based in Hudson, Massachusetts and is a leader in large format digital printing. The company was founded in 1996 by Eli and Leah Luria and serves resellers of large format digital products.
