Valhalla, N.Y. – FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division, the leading supplier of equipment, products and services for the graphic printing industry announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase Royce Photo/Graphics, Inc. d/b/a Royce Imaging Technologies, a full-line dealer and authorized service center for the graphic arts and photographic market, operating in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shortly after the deal, which is expected to be completed July 1, 2013, Royce will become part of Fujifilm’s Graphic Systems Division as a sales, service and distribution center, effective July 1, 2013.

Founded in 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Royce Photo/Graphics distributes offset printing plates, pressroom supplies, workflow software, bindery, and the latest digital inkjet technology equipment to a wide range of print providers. The company employs full-time technical specialists, installation and service engineers and account managers, equipped with leading-edge training on the latest industry technologies, providing customer operators with the products and application expertise to increase the productivity and efficiency of their print processes.

“At Royce, we help our clients be more competitive by seeking out new technologies that can improve productivity, and finding the most profitable solution for each individual customer,” said Roger Bland, president of Royce. “Fujifilm is our most valued partner in providing these solutions to our customers.”

Under its new Fujifilm identity, the company will continue to operate out of the current facility, distributing the same equipment and supplies from its portfolio of major suppliers, and delivering the same high quality service their customers have come to expect. Together, the companies are poised to take technology and service to an even higher level, enabling them to realize growth opportunities arising from their combined strengths.

“Royce reflects a passion for the graphic arts industry that is matched by Fujifilm. This transaction will bring together the complementary strengths of Fujifilm’s high-quality printing technologies with Royce’s outstanding record of service, to help grow the business within the graphic arts industry,” said Tak Yanagawa, division president, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division. “We are confident that together, we can further enhance Fujifilm’s abilities to provide the right solutions to help our customers.”
