Totalpost Expands with Key Accountants Contracts

Friday, June 14, 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Totalpost Services Plc has won eight new contracts with accountants across the country in recent months by offering bespoke and transparent mailroom packages relating to supply of franking machines and mail processing .

Two that stand out as being representative of the industries mailroom needs are Howard Matthews Partnership based in Harrogate and, the Financial Management Bureau based in Kendal.

Both were frustrated by hidden charges and poor levels of service. Neither felt that they were receiving a very personal service.

The Howard Matthews Partnership, who send out up to £200 of mostly second class mail per month were coming to the end of their previous contract when they approached Totalpost.

Senior Partner, Howard Matthews says: “We were looking for a new supplier as we were tired of the hidden costs experienced through our previous original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplier. Totalpost were the only company to give us a full and thorough explanation of our mailing options.”

The Financial Management Bureau was also fed up with hidden costs associated with their franking machine. Sending out up to £300 of mail a month their franking machine was an essential tool in the everyday running of the business. However, their previous supplier was slow in addressing breakdowns and issues and extra charges were often levied against them. They had particular problems every time postal price changes came in.

Again, Totalpost sat down with them, assessed their needs and suggested options. From this an individual plan was put together that included all costs such as rental of the franking machine, postage advice and maintenance with no extra hidden charges and this worked out cheaper than using their previous incumbent.

Speaking about the plan Gill Forrester, Director of HR & Compliance at the Financial Management Bureau comments: “Like any business we do not like unplanned expenditure, therefore to be able to have a plan for our mailing needs that covered all costs gave us peace of mind. Additionally because Totalpost presented all the options to us we felt that the service given was very transparent and therefore trustworthy.”

Totalpost always carries out mailroom audits with new clients as well as undergoing reviews as is required with existing companies. Commenting on this, Territory Sales Manager at Totalpost, Mark Wright comments: “Every company has different mailing needs and priorities and the best way to help companies to make savings is to assess their needs individually. It is also important to ensure each customer has one point of contact should they have any queries as well as the backup of a UK based team.”

Totalpost is able to provide tailor-made contracts to their customers because they are an independent provider. This gives the company much greater flexibility in the services and terms that they can provide to their clients.

Companies are able to make further savings by using Totalpost’s 100% guaranteed compatible franking machine ink cartridges which are available at a fraction of the OEM price. These are manufactured in-house at Totalpost’s factory in Cumbria and have been fully approved by Royal Mail.

Totalpost Services Plc is a European mailroom specialist with three main bases in the UK (Alston, Warrington and Swindon) and national sales and service coverage with Royal Mail compliance across the UK.
