EDSF and IPN Form Academic Partnership to Provide International Scholarships

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Charity Auction to be Held at IPN Global Benefits EDSF’s Scholarship Program

HURST, Texas U.S.A - EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation), the international, non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries, today announced that it has been selected by IPN (International Printers’ Network) to receive the proceeds of its first charity auction. The event will be part of the 20 year celebration held at the IPN Global Conference, June 9, 2013, in Annapolis, Maryland. The funds will be used to establish IPN Legacy scholarship programs worldwide.

Brenda Kai, EDSF’s executive director, said, “With innovative and passionate industry leaders like those at IPN Global, EDSF will surely succeed in its mission of bringing the best and brightest new minds to our industry.”

As part of the partnership, EDSF will administer the scholarships on behalf of IPN. This includes assisting with scholarship selection criteria; providing information about the scholarships to the colleges or universities; marketing the award within the industry; promoting the scholarship to students and universities; managing the application process; and selecting the scholarship award recipients through an industry committee. Here is the best part, because of generous contributions from EDSF’s Board of Directors; all administrative expenses are covered allowing 100% of IPN’s donations to go directly to students.
