BR Printers Introduces Newest Inkjet Printing Innovation

Press release from the issuing company

Installs Extended Media Dryer to its Ricoh InfoPrint5000

SAN JOSE, CA – Digital printing industry  leader, BR Printers, has become one of only two printers in the United States currently utilizing the Extended Media Dryer for the Ricoh InfoPrint 5000.

“We are very excited about this addition to our Ricoh InfoPrint 5000. The Extended Media Dryer is a one of a kind drying system and one of our most innovative products to date. Utilizing advanced technology and compact design, this new addition gives our customers a whole new range of printing options. Our clients demand digital printing excellence and our new Extended Media Dryer gives them higher ink coverage, faster drying times and enhanced color vibrancy on an even broader range of substrates.” stated Adam DeMaestri, President of BR Printers, Inc.

BR’s industry-leading InfoPrint 5000 configuration results in color output closer to offset quality, thanks to the Extended Media Dryer’s extended color gamut. The new InfoPrint 5000 configuration enables BR to print larger solid coverage images and solid images back to back while ensuring less paper waviness or wrinkling, as commonly seen with other high-ink coverage projects.

The InfoPrint 5000 and its Extended Media Dryer offers print speeds of 64 meters (210 feet) per minute when using the dryer option. The InfoPrint 5000 GP model AD3/4 duplex system can print at up to 128 meters (420 feet) per minute when the Dryer is not being used. One of the major distinguishing characteristics of the Extended Media Dryer is its efficient energy absorption by the ink, for faster drying than with other technologies.
