Press release from the issuing company

The upcoming PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2013 (PPI), 4th International Packaging and Printing Exhibition for Asia, will provide 20% more exhibit space, indicating Thailand’s position as SEA’s packaging and printing hub. The organizers Messe Düsseldorf Asia (MDA), the Thai Packaging Association and the Thai Printing Association expect some 250 companies to showcase their latest technology and pioneering innovations for the printing and packaging sector to about 20,000 visitors. The event will take place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from August 28 - 31, 2013.

As Southeast Asia’s premier event for the packaging and printing industry, PPI 2013 is anticipated to surpass the success of its previous editions by attracting leading global brands. Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of MDA, stated: “Given the pressing market demands for higher productivity, value efficiency in printing services and unique packaging delivery, PPI provides the right avenue for industry decision makers to assess their company’s immediate business needs. We have gathered the world’s best market leaders who front the best technologies that meet the industry’s current expectations at the trade exhibition in Asia.”

PPI 2013 will feature an extensive display of the latest machinery, solutions and services for the print and packaging industry from the two top global printing companies - Heidelberg Graphics (Thailand) and Koenig and Bauer Group (KBA). In addition, PPI will feature national group exhibits from China and Taiwan, including packaging and printing manufacturers such as Anwin Technology Co. Ltd., Dae Young System Co., Swedev AB and Riso (Thailand) Ltd.

One of Thailand’s leading companies in the printing-packaging business - Sanxin Printing Machine Material - along with Bao-Der Enterprise Corp, Ferrostaal (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and Worldly Industrial Co. Ltd. will participate in the “printing” segment of PPI 2013 with a range of cutting-edge technology for pre-press and pre-media, printing machinery, appliance, print finishing and paper converting. PPI’s strength in attracting global industry leaders is evident by the participation of Hewlett-Packard (Asia Pacific) and FUJIFILM (Thailand) Ltd. The “packaging’ segment” of the trade fair will include leading providers of complete lines for flexible, digital and integrated packaging such as Li Shenq Machinery Co Ltd., Long New Industrial Co. Ltd., K Laser Technology (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and M-Plus Tech.

Environmental friendly solutions will be a main topic at PPI 2013. Companies such as AD Doctor Blade (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., C.G.S (Thailand) Co. Ltd., Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC), Frank & Associates Plastic Co. Ltd. and Huber Inks (Thailand) Ltd. will showcase their eco-friendly and environmentally-safe products.
