Taopix will be unveiling their software integration with HP SmartStream Production Center in China next week

Taopix, manufacturers of the world’s leading photo book and gift software platform, will be unveiling their integration with HP SmartStream Production Center at both Dscoop Asia and China Print in Beijing next week. 

The global software manufacturer, with a worldwide HP SmartStream Silver Partner, will be attending the Dscoop Asia Annual Conference as a Platinum sponsor next week. The latest version of the award-winning Taopix Portfolio software, version 3.5, will be demonstrated on the Taopix stand within the Solutions Showcase (Stand W6) at Dscoop in Beijing, China on the 12^th - 13^th May. Following that, visitors to China Print (in Beijing from the 14^th – 18^th May) will be able to see Taopix demonstrating the integration with the HP SmartStream Production Center in the HP booth.  

About HP SmartStream Production Center:

HP recently announced worldwide availability of its HP SmartStream Production Center. A first-of-its-kind software based production management system, the HP SmartStream Production Center is designed to address the challenges of efficiently receiving, producing and delivering high volumes of short run print jobs, from multiple automated sources. The system helps print service providers (PSPs) meet aggressive customer deadlines by improving job status visibility, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and monitoring production; enabling more effective use of the PSPs’ capital equipment.

About the Integration: 

The integration between the two pieces of software uses JDF to seamlessly transfer the Taopix photo gift production job and its job ticket information to the HP SmartStream Production Center. This automates the job submission, shortening the production time, reduces manual work and human errors. Once the job is complete, the Taopix software receives a status update via JMF, which it relays to the printer. This then seamlessly triggers a notification to the end user, which enhances overall purchasing experiences and increases satisfaction.

As an HP SmartStream Silver Partner, the fact that the Taopix photo book and gift software platform is one of the first partners to announce a seamless integration with the HP SmartStream Production Center will be of huge benefit to HP customers already using Taopix software, or thinking about venturing into the lucrative photo book and gift market.
