Indexx, located in Greenville, SC has selected The Pro-Mail Fulfillment Solution from Software Marketing Associates, Inc. to manage its expanding fulfillment operation. Formed in 1994, Indexx initially focused on providing legal copy and tabbing services. Since that time, the company has grown to become one of the largest commercial printers in South Carolina. Indexx offers a wide range of services including graphic design, marketing communications, offset and digital printing, bindery, mailing and fulfillment.

Indexx has been providing warehousing and fulfillment services for many years. They had been using a variety of software systems to manage the work, including a web-to-print system, shipping software and their print MIS platform. The systems had limited ability to manage inventory, were not integrated and offered little in the way of process automation. As a result, the fulfillment team spent an inordinate amount of time manually processing orders, tracking inventory levels and calculating billing charges. In many cases they were required to enter the same information in multiple systems, due to the lack of integration.

The firm’s management recognized the need to invest in fulfillment software. Indexx president Jordan Finn explains, “We’ve got a great team here. The Pro-Mail Fulfillment Solution is suite of software solutions designed specifically for fulfillment service providers. The Pro-Mail fulfillment software includes shopping cart design and e-commerce, a rules-based Order Management System and Warehouse Management System that employs barcode technology and integrates with shipping systems.
