INTERQUEST Announces 2013 London Digital Book Printing Forum

According to Toby Cobrin, a Director at INTERQUEST, "Our research has shown that over the past year, digital book printing has had a very positive progression due to the innovation of suppliers, manufacturers, and publishers. We are excited to bring together many of the major U.K. as well as international players across the book publishing supply chain to share their stories related to digital book manufacturing. This year we will focus on the state and future of digital printing from the perspective of the key book segments. "

In the morning session, the Forum Keynote will be followed by a panel of leading players from key sectors of the industry—publishing, printing, distribution, and retail. The panel will present their visions of the market and discuss important issues for the future of their businesses. INTERQUEST will then present key results from its recent market research on digital book printing in the U.K. Before lunch attendees will hear from a panel of book publishers and printers who will present the state and future of digital printing in the educational and professional (STM) book markets.

The afternoon portion of the program features a panel of representatives from leading printing systems suppliers who will present an update of their latest developments and will discuss topics and issues key to book publishers and printers. This will be followed by a panel of industry experts and users who will analyse opportunities and challenges related to digital printing in select areas like self-publishing, high quality colour books, as well as in the areas of workflow, finishing, inks, and paper. The afternoon will conclude with a panel of book publishers and printers who will present the state and future of digital printing in the trade fiction/non-fiction and religious markets.
