Downtown Detroit Printer Growing Stronger

Press release from the issuing company

Having survived the shift to electronic communication and the Great Depression, Inland Press,  Detroit’s largest commercial printer, is investing in equipment, facilities and processes as well as adding an experienced and respected sales representative.

Ray Schauer, brings a reputation for exceptional customer service. His focus on delivering quality printing while containing costs won him back-to-back Printing Vendor of the Year awards. No other sales rep has won the award two years in a row.

Schauer has spent his entire career in the printing industry. He is noted for helping area printers keep up with rapidly changing technology and the quality demands of customers. He will be a resource for Inland as it seeks ISO9001 certification.

“We have the best equipment, a great facility in downtown Detroit, unparalleled financial strength and we’re proud to have such a well-respected and experienced sales rep join our team,” Inland CEO Brad Thompson said his announcement.

Schauer joins Inland Press from Clark Graphics where he had been since 2008. Other printing companies he’s worked for include: Collier ColorType, EGT, Macomb Printing, and 21st Century Graphics. He lives in Sterling Heights.
