MadeToTag Update with New Language Feature

Press release from the issuing company

Berlin - axaio software, developer of solutions for PDF creation, printing and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing market, announces the immediate availability of the new version of its InDesign plug-in MadeToTag. The update includes an important new language feature and some additional configuration options.

With MadeToTag you can properly prepare Adobe InDesign documents for export as tagged, accessible PDF files faster and in a much more reliable way. The plug-in defines the content and semantic structure of the InDesign document based on tags. The new version adds additional fine-grained control to tag the content of the Indesign document with the correct language and includes a number of other settings.

Under the task “Language“ you can now control and enhance settings for paragraph and character styles as well as for local formattings. The dialogue window gives an overview of the languages which are assigned to the document. In order to check the current status of the language assignments you have the possibility to color-highlight languages. As for all other MadeToTag options, you can also use short cuts for all language settings, to tag the document very quickly.

The MadeToTag PDF export feature was enhanced by some additional configuration possibilities: On the one hand the document can also be exported as spread and on the other you can define special output page ranges. With the new version the user has the option to set up adjustments for images included in the document; to define the kind of compression, the JPEG quality as well as the image resolution.

MadeToTag (1.0.055) is available in many different languages: English, German, French, Danish, Dutch and Portuguese and can be downloaded from the axaio software website. The Italian and Spanish versions will follow soon. MadeToTag requires Adobe InDesign CS5.5 or CS6 and is available for Mac (10.5/10.6/10.7) and Windows (Vista and Windows 7).

MadeToTag can still be used free of charge until June 30, 2013 without any commercial obligation. After June 30, 2013 MadeToTag becomes commercially available
