The session will be moderated by WhatTheyThink Senior Editor Cary Sherburne and feature three printers who have made this transition successfully. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EDT (-4 GMT).

  • Diane Fischer, Founder, L & D Mail Masters, Inc. Fischer founded this business 26 years ago in her home as a direct mail consulting business. Today the company occupies 180,000 square feet and has 120 employees. . L & D offers a full gamut of direct marketing services including mailshop services, variable digital printing, offset printing, data solutions, campaign design and programming.  
  • Fernando Guzman, President, G&C Direct Mail Marketing, Inc. Located in Dallas and founded in 1999, G&C Direct Mail Marketing is housed in 30,000 square feet of production space. The Guzman family has a long history in direct mail marketing. The company added digital printing in 2009, and an inkjet web press in December 2012. This latter acquisition eliminates the need to overprint names, addresses and other custom elements onto color forms created in other shops, running mail pieces in a single pass and consolidating work under one roof.
  • Arlindo Santos, Fast Solutions, Brazil.  Fast Solutions, founded in 1994, has three integrated locations in Brazil (Cambuci, Rio de Janeiro and Tamboré) comprising more than 18,000 square meters.  Its new Rio site is capable of printing 60 million documents per month. The company focuses on transactional printing and is installing its second inkjet web press. Moving to production inkjet has enabled the company to add significantly to its client base, primarily in the financial service and insurance industries.
