CP Graphics Increases Digital Publishing Capacity with New HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press

Press release from the issuing company

Advances company from print service provider to marketing partner

PALO ALTO, Calif. - HP today announced that Tucson-based CP Graphics installed an HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press to meet increased customer demand for high-quality customized marketing collateral.

This is CP Graphics? second HP Indigo digital press. The positive return on investment CP Graphics realized from its initial purchase of the HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press, as well as the need for higher output speed and capacity, influenced the company?s decision to again invest in HP digital solutions.

?We needed another digital press to maximize productivity and increase capacity to address increased demands for digital printing,? said Jake Walker, president, CP Graphics. ?Our HP digital printing systems allow us to be a full-service provider to our customers, and help grow our business. The print quality of the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press is consistent and the same or better than offset, and the digital press? speed is also proving to be a big competitive advantage.?

The HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press offers true offset-quality digital production and is the fastest 13 x 19 inch format digital sheetfed press in the market. Its speed, productivity and special print effects allow differentiation for print service providers (PSPs) through a wide range of unique applications that can increase profits.

Expanding services, giving clients options

With new special effects available for the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press, CP Graphics can create embossed-style textures, digital watermarks using one layer of transparent ink and raised print using multiple layers of transparent ink applied directly to the substrate.

HP Indigo ElectroInk White gives CP Graphics the unique ability to print on a diverse range of media including transparencies, dark, colored and metallic substrates. ElectroInk offers the industry?s widest digital color gamut, with four, six or seven process color printing.

?We are looking at the new applications available for the HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press to help CP Graphics capitalize on new business opportunities,? said Walker. ?Our HP Indigo presses have given us much broader capabilities, allowing us to go to clients with unique, cost-efficient solutions. We don?t have to worry about product limitations with this press because it gives us greater versatility.

Focus on cost per response

CP Graphics differentiates itself from other PSPs by adding value for its customers through in-house concept design, variable-data printing of customized marketing materials and strategic marketing counseling.

?We go beyond commodity products,? said Jake Walker, president, CP Graphics. ?Our clients want to work with someone who?s not just going to bid on cost per print. Instead, they are asking for education on the options, especially in design. The HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press helps us provide unique, creative and highly targeted solutions for our customers.?

Enabled by digital print, CP Graphics is a marketing partner meeting clients? needs by utilizing design and variable-data components to drive down cost per response. The HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press enables CP Graphics to produce short and long runs in a short timeframe to create impactful marketing campaigns. More information can be found at cpgraphics.net.
