Press release from the issuing company

Lansdale, PA — Richard A. Nash, 86, of Ooltewah, TN and formerly of Lansdale, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Chattanooga, TN.

“The PrintWorks family wishes to express our sincerest condolences to the Nash family on the passing of Dick Nash,” said Martin Wolfe, president of PrintWorks & Company, Inc.

Mr. Nash owned and operated the former Nash Printing, Inc. in Lansdale, PA. “I always had a great working relationship with Dick,” says Wolfe, “I always knew that I was being treated fairly and with mutual respect. His character and integrity spoke volumes to me; he was a pillar in the industry as well as the communities in which he did business.” Founded in 1929, Nash was one of the oldest and longest standing printing firms in Montgomery County.

“The ways in which we ran our businesses and personal lives were so much aligned that we would combine forces over time,” Wolfe said.

PrintWorks & Company, Inc. eventually went on to purchase the assets and property of Nash Printing in April of 2006 and consolidated the operations of the two companies in 2009 on the site of the former Nash Printing at 1617 North Line Street in Lansdale.

Born October 19, 1926 in Lansdale, he was son of the late Melvin and Erna Nash. Dick was the beloved husband of Doris “Dee” (Lopanik) Nash, his wife of 62 years and was a charter member of Lansdale Seventh-day Adventist Church where he served on the Church Board and was Head Elder for over 10 years. Dick was also instrumental in building the Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy.

For those desiring, contributions may be made in Mr. Nash’s memory to the Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy, 1845 Byberry Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
