Printing Industries of America Launches the Integrated Print Center

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - Printing Industries of America today announces the launch of the Integrated Print Center, or IPC, a site dedicated to providing the integrated printer with the most essential data from the printing and graphic communications world. 

Led by Julie Shaffer, Vice President, Digital Technologies, the Integrated Print Center, www.printing.org/ipc is an interactive site created to provide everything from print and digital solutions to multichannel marketing and business strategies. Sections of the website include the Learning Center, Prime, Test Drive Tools, Integrated Print Forum (IPF), and Partners.

Digital printing’ has become mainstream, and today printers are using integrated’ techniques like QR codes and augmented reality. Our transformation mirrors the industry’s in a way—as our members transition their focus to integrated technologies, we do as well,” said Julie. “The new Integrated Print Center is the place to educate our members and the marketing industry on all the ways print is relevant and is a key feature in the marketing community.”

The Learning Center section of IPC provides printers with the essential information to understand and implement current technologies, including augmented reality, social media, and digital color correction. Find white papers, technology reports, and economic statistics. Also in this section, Joe Marin, Sr. Instructor, Manager Training Programs, Printing Industries of America, offers easy-to-follow how-to video tutorials.

PRIME, expected to launch May 1, will feature a brand new resource for printers to learn how to generate and launch multimedia messages like customized email, PURL, SMS, social media, and QR campaigns. With PRIME, upload your distribution list, purchase a domain, choose a campaign type, and customize your message. Users may also view reports and analytics on the campaign, and PRIME allows users to purchase and send their campaign or just experience and learn about cross-media marketing.

The Test Drive Tools section features information on more advanced marketing tools and allows users to find an expanding variety of print-focused, Cloud-based services for Print eCommerce, social media commerce, integrated marketing solutions, mobile app builders, and mobile website builders.
