FOSTER CITY, Calif.--March 22, 2004-- EFI, the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, today announced the sale of its Unimobile(TM) mobile messaging platform assets to VeriSign, Inc.. VeriSign is the leading provider of critical infrastructure services for the Internet and telecommunications networks. VeriSign paid EFI $5.25 million in cash and will service all existing Unimobile customer contracts. As a result of the sale, EFI will recognize a one-time GAAP net income gain of approximately $0.03 per share in the first quarter of 2004.
