Renowned in the industry for color expertise – and not just in the pressroom – the team at Remote Director has added a host of new features for tracking the status of all projects throughout the workflow.

From Think to Ink

Starting with photography and the creative process through to a proof for the pressmen, Remote Director 5.0 is designed to streamline production by eliminating rounds of hard copy proofing and the associated shipping and handling costs. The user interface has been simplified and can be adapted for each viewer, providing only the tools they need to perform their assigned tasks.

Customized for Your Client

To assure client security, Remote Director 5.0 allows printers to segment proofing for each customer, including adding specific branding to the interface. Further customization is available for user definable roles, which can be selected from more than 35 different permissions and project filters that can be built and shared.

Beyond ICC

In addition to supporting ICC profiles, Remote Director 5.0 continues to improve the spectral blending engine for up to 24 color channels. This engine can work with any spot color library to provide accurate blends between spot colors and with the ICC profile.
