Global Vision Launches the StandardPractice - A Guide to the Creation of Digital Files

Press release from the issuing company

Montreal, CANADA -? Global Vision, the industry leader in the development of automated proofreading solutions, today announced the launch of the StandardPractice the industries first set of guidelines outlining the issues, risks, solutions and tools involved in the creation of digital files.

?The goal of the StandardPractice is to compile a set of rules or guidelines, to create uniform, high quality artwork, proofs and prints that work and look the same way, no matter who created them,? explained Reuben Malz, President of Global Vision. ?Using best practices throughout the organization will provide all stakeholders with new found predictability in digital file quality while avoiding unintended delays or errors.”

The StandardPractice is designed to be of interest to all professionals who, directly or indirectly, contribute to digital file creation. It outlines agreed upon methods, and practices when planning or creating artwork projects and can be used to investigate the causes of undesired issues in digital files and facilitate workflow processes.

"Every day we come across a multitude of different methods by which companies create and disseminate digital files that result in needless and inefficient revisions and disruptions in the workflow,? continues Malz. ?A digital file guide like the StandardPractice will help to alleviate this time consuming and costly issue.?
