Heidelberg Canada Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Press release from the issuing company

March 18, 2004 -- Heidelberg Canada Graphic Equipment Limited recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special event held at the corporate headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario. Joining the festivities were original founders, employees, partners and customers. Although Heidelberg Canada started in January 1984, Heidelberg products were sold in Canada long before that. The company was started by Bill Sears as president, Tim Upton as vice president of sales and Manfred Bank as vice president of technical service. Together they quickly built Heidelberg Canada into the nation's leading sales and service organization to the graphic arts industry. Today the portfolio consists of prepress, press and finishing equipment. These product offerings are complemented across the country by service, graphic supplies, training, financing and consulting. “Over the last 20 years Heidelberg has grown substantially to meet the needs of the graphic arts industry so it is with great pleasure that we celebrate the special occasion,” said President Richard Armstrong. “But it’s the next 20 years that makes us most excited as we continue to develop new solutions that help our customers run more efficient and profitable businesses.”
