Aleyant Systems Heads to Brazil for Expo Print Digital 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Wheaton, IL. Aleyant Systems, an innovative leader in providing robust software services to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, today announced that it will be exhibiting its web-to-print and cross-media solutions, including Pressero and eDocBuilder, at Expo Print Digital 2013 scheduled for 13-16 March in São Paulo. Aleyant Systems will be located in Stand G30 at the Expo.

“We are thrilled about our first Brazilian exhibition,” said Greg Salzman, President of Aleyant Systems. “Brazil’s vibrant economy has withstood much of the turbulence other parts of the world economy have experienced, and printing—especially digital printing—is a growth market. We are pleased to be able to introduce Aleyant Systems solutions to Expo attendees.”

Pressero from Aleyant Systems is an affordable and easy-to-use cloud-based B2B or B2C online storefront solution that can quickly and easily be customized to individual client needs. Because it is delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS), it has a pay-as-you-go model that involves limited up-front costs, and can be utilized anywhere around the globe that has Internet access. Pressero comes already enhanced with Aleyant's eDocBuilder, a web-based variable data publishing system. eDocBuilder is also built to easily integrate into third-party web-to-print or MIS solutions. It features advanced typography control, imposition, scripting support, PDF workflows, rapid template creation, Excel merge capabilities, QR and bar code generation, and more. Important for the Brazilian market, Aleyant solutions are available in Portuguese.

“Many Brazilian printing companies have experimented with web-to-print and understand its value,” added Salzman. “We believe attendees will be very interested in all that our Pressero and eDocBuilder solutions have to offer as they seek to refine their web-to-print efforts.  We also are excited to share with attendees the benefits of Aleyant's Automated Workflow Integrator (AWI).  This new module has already been employed to integrate solutions through more than a dozen partners around the world. Our goal is to make online operations as streamlined, affordable, and integrated into production processes as possible, with AWI as a critical enabler for achieving this goal. Examples of applications for AWI’s rules-based approach to feeding order files into prepress and production include automating processes for file renaming for workflows that have strict file naming conventions, automatically unzipping zipped files, and even sending files and metadata directly to a RIP for processing, thereby eliminating multiple steps in the workflow. This type of automation can also be applied to digital workflows where there is no printed output.”
