Aleyant Systems Adds Channel Sales for Business Expansion

Press release from the issuing company

Wheaton, IL.  Aleyant Systems, an innovative leader in providing robust software services to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, today announced that it has appointed industry veteran Greg Bane as Sales Channel Manager. Bane joins Aleyant Systems from Meadows Publishing Solutions where he was channel Manager for the company’s DesignMerge software solution for a number of years.

"Greg comes to us with a rich graphic arts background and long-term relationships within the graphic arts channel community," said Greg Salzman, Aleyant’s President. "We believe he will be able to significant raise awareness about our Pressero, eDocBuilder and Automated Workflow Integrator solutions with a variety of potential channel partners. His goal will be to enable those partners to provide more value to their customers by offering an affordable SaaS solution based on an open platform that is easy to integrate and customize."

Bane began his graphic arts career with AlphaGraphics in the 1980’s following his graduation from Western Illinois University. Bane says, "Throughout my career, I have been involved with pioneering new technology, from the early days of the Apple Macintosh and desktop scanning to advanced solutions for variable data printing.  I am excited to be joining Aleyant Systems and building a channel presence for its innovative web-to-print solutions."

Bane was also co-owner of a print shop in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. "That experience is also an important element of my background," added Bane. "Having owned and operated a printing business myself gives me great insight into the value proposition for web-to-print in today’s complex and highly competitive graphic arts market. Even though I have only been on the job at Aleyant a short while, we have already made some channel sales, and I look forward to helping build a bright and profitable future for Aleyant in 2013 and beyond."

During 2012, Aleyant Systems significantly grew its revenues. "Previously, our growth has come from direct sales," concludes Salzman. "Expanding into channels is the next logical step to ensure our continued growth."
