Press release from the issuing company

Boston, Massachusetts/Appenzell, Switzerland: GMC Software Technology (GMC), a leading provider of customer communications management (CCM) and output management solutions, confirms it is presenting four sessions during 2013 Xplor User Conference and Vendor Forum in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla. April 16 - 18, 2013.

This year's theme for the conference, Breakthrough '13, will include educational topics that benefit any company working to generate customer communications via print, web, social media or mobile. GMC's contribution to this educational conference includes:

A highly informative session for business communicators, Case Study: Legacy and IT Modernization in Six Weeks, will be co-presented by GMC with its global insurance customer, MetLife. This real-world session will highlight how MetLife updated its legacy customer communication applications with the help of GMC in just six weeks to deliver more effective communications across multiple channels without impacting core, mission-critical systems.

Volkswagen Bank's real-world business challenges are the core of the session Case Study: Saving Volkswagen Bank 40% With Personalized Communication Campaigns. GMC customer, Business Advantage Group (BAG), outlines the hurdles BAG overcame to produce Volkswagen Bank's highly personalized credit renewal campaigns that resulted in 90 percent improvement in delivery times, significant costs savings, new business growth and higher response rates.

An educational session, Mining and Using Social Media Data to Increase Customer Engagement, presented by Bill Parker, chief marketing officer at GMC, will guide attendees through the many ways social media data can be mined and used to better engage prospects and customers across multiple communication channels.

In his second session, Dynamic Statements, Providing Real-time Transactional Data across Multiple Devices, Parker will further demonstrate how to deliver transactional data dynamically and in real-time, allowing customers to enjoy new levels of interaction and drill-down capabilities across multiple devices.

GMC will also participate in two additional panels: Need to Know: Compliance is More Than an Audit Trail! Are You Compliant? and Social Media: Hug it or Hate it?.

"We are excited to once again have GMC play a major role in our curriculum," says Skip Henk, Xplor president/CEO. "Their consistent submission of relevant topics, case studies and solid educational content adds a great deal to the conference experience of our attendees."

"We are looking forward to the Xplor conference where we will be surrounded by focused, energetic companies actively seeking to take the breakthrough theme into practice with their multichannel customer communications," said Steve Francis, president and general manager North America for GMC Software Technology. "We are delighted to demonstrate the benefits and return on investment of delivering personalized customer communications through multiple platforms."

At the 2012 Xplor Conference GMC was awarded 'Innovator of the Year' for its world-class solution, GMC Inspire for the fourth time.
