Highcon Direct-to-Pack Ramps up with Events in Europe and North America

Press release from the issuing company

Yavne, Israel - Converters and printers are flocking to see the Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine at events in Europe, Scandinavia and the United States. This game-changing digital finishing solution has piqued the interest of the industry’s leading companies by offering packaging converters a fast, creative way to turn around short-run packaging profitably.

Plantin bvba, a division of Staples group and Highcon’s channel partner in Benelux, is gearing up for the third opportunity for their contacts to see the Euclid benefits in action in Brussels.  Plantin has already held two very successful events.  The first, in December, was a dedicated event aimed at short-run packaging converters and printers, and a delegation from Vouwkarton Platform Nederland  the Dutch folding carton association,  joined other potential customers at Plantin’s second event at the beginning of February.

Elsewhere, in the UK, hot on the heels of their purchase of the first Euclid, Glossop Cartons will have a stand at the Packaging Innovations show in Birmingham, February 27th and 28th, and visitors will be able to both learn more about Glossop and hear Jacky Sidebottom, Director of Glossop Cartons, and Chris Baker, Highcon VP Sales and Business Development, talk about the advantages of digital short-run packaging finishing.

Visutech, the Scandinavian Highcon channel, will be holding their Visutech Digital Academy– Label and Packaging Event, Gothenburg, Sweden also on February 27th.

On March 6-7 Plantin will be holding a further Open House, & venement 2013, and visitors are already signing up in a steady flow to see all the technology solutions Plantin have to offer, including the Highcon Euclid. Further country specific days (Italy, Scandinavia, UK, and Germany) dedicated to the Highcon Euclid will be held at the Plantin demo centre at the beginning of April.

In Germany, Heinrich Baumann Grafisches Centrum, the German Highcon channel, will also be offering visitors to their Baumann-Komori Open Day a chance to hear more about the Highcon Euclid.  Their event will take place on March 7-9 at their Center of Excellence in Frankfurt.

Across the ocean, in the USA, Highcon will also be speaking at the PPC meeting in Nashville, April 3-5, and will have a booth at the IADD Odyssey, also in Nashville, May 1-3.

Seeing the Highcon Euclid in action has provoked highly positive response among visitors and the company anticipates a steady flow of further visitors to the upcoming events.
