MENASHA, Wis., March 17 -- Banta Corporation today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Stephanie A. Streeter will be named to the additional position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective April 27, 2004. She will succeed Donald D. Belcher, 65, who is retiring following nine years as Chairman of the Board. Ms. Streeter, 46, has been a member of the Banta Board of Directors since July 2001. She became Banta's President and Chief Executive Officer in October 2002, having joined the corporation in January 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Belcher served as Banta's President and Chief Executive Officer from January 1995 through September 2002. He has been a Banta Director since 1994 and Chairman since April 1995. He joined Banta in September 1994 as President and Chief Operating Officer.
