GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Gimbel & Associates today announced the appointment of Randall Swope to the newly-created post of Senior Consultant, Emerging Markets.  Drawing on more than 30 years of international sales and marketing experience including living in Latin America and working on projects in China, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and India, Swope will lead the firm’s expansion into developing markets.  He brings a wealth of talent to bear by managing client consulting projects; developing strategy; providing organizational and business analysis; and conducting sales training and seminars for customers.   He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Before joining the team at Gimbel & Associates, Swope held a series of senior management positions at Xerox Corporation. He served in multiple capacities at Xerox do Brasil for more than ten years where he helped to build their digital print business. He then worked at Xerox corporate headquarters in Connecticut, managing new technology introductions, conducting assessments in more than fifteen countries, expanding business partnerships for software integration and championing the graphic communications business for the company’s Developing Markets Operations.  

Most recently, Randy was responsible for Xerox’s Latin American region graphic communications business where he led development of sales channels and worked with customers to define business strategies and marketing plans for successful implementation of digital print solutions.

Swope holds an MBA/MA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Fellow of the prestigious Lauder Institute of International Management.   He also holds a BS from the School of International Studies at American University in Washington, D.C.
