Aleyant Systems and Datafont Join Forces to Present Educational Web to Print Sessions in Paris

Press release from the issuing company

Aleyant Systems, an innovative leader in providing robust software services to the graphic communications industry at value-driven prices, today announced that it will join its partner, Datafont, a reseller of web-to-print and cross-media solutions including Aleyant’s Pressero and eDocBuilder, in presenting educational sessions designed to help printers and marketers better use B2B and B2C storefronts for more effective customer interactions. The sessions will be held on 21 and 22 February, 2013, with sessions from 10AM to 12:30PM and 3PM to 5:30PM each day. Attendees will learn how Aleyant’s web-to-print solutions can improve productivity and reduce costs in the management and distribution of marketing collateral and other business materials. The sessions will be held at Centre de formation OFELI, 17 rue des messageries 75010, Paris.

“France is an important market for both Aleyant Systems and Datafont,” said Greg Salzman, President of Aleyant Systems. “Participants in this Paris event will come away with in-depth information about the benefits of web-to-print, and the ease with which enterprises can integrate existing systems with Aleyant solutions in order to improve productivity and to enhance both internal and external communications,” he added.

Pressero from Aleyant Systems is an affordable and easy-to-use cloud-based B2B or B2C online storefront solution that can quickly and easily be customized to individual client needs. Because it is delivered as Software as a Service, it has a pay-as-you-go model that involves limited up-front costs. Pressero can be enhanced with the addition of eDocBuilder, a web-based variable data publishing system built specifically to easily integrate into Aleyant or third-party web-to-print or MIS solutions. It features advanced typography control, imposition, scripting support, PDF workflows, rapid template creation, Excel merge capabilities and more.

“One of the things we are most interested in,” added Salzman, “is educating the French market about the benefits of Automated Workflow Integrator (AWI).  This new module has already been employed to integrate solutions through more than a dozen partners around the world, including Datafont. Our goal is to make online operations as streamlined and affordable as possible, and AWI is a critical enabler for achieving this goal. Examples of applications for AWI’s rules-based approach include automating processes for file renaming for workflows that have strict file naming conventions, automatically unzipping zipped files, or sending files and metadata directly to a RIP for processing, eliminating multiple steps in the workflow. This type of automation can also be applied to digital workflows where there is no printed output.”
