Printing Impressions and nGage Events Announce Inkjet Summit 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Printing Impressions, the leading trade publication serving commercial printers, and nGage Events, a specialized meetings company that focuses on hosted model events, announce the Inkjet Summit 2013. The inaugural 2013 event will be held April 9-11 at the exclusive Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

As the interest in inkjet printing continues to grow, print providers and corporate enterprises are seeking guidance from industry experts, peers and market leaders to help them develop sound business strategies, understand their technology options, and make major investment decisions concerning inkjet printing capabilities. Vendors are also looking for ways to better identify and develop more intimate relationships with those potential buyers specifically interested in inkjet printing solutions.

The Inkjet Summit is an invitation-only, hosted event designed for senior managers and business executives who want to understand how current and future inkjet technology trends, software, consumables and finishing solutions are and will impact their businesses and help them shape their visions and strategies for the future.

The Inkjet Summit’s unique format provides sponsors with Boardroom and 1:1 meetings with executives intimately involved with strategy, and purchasing authority and intentions. Sponsors will gain access to a pre-qualified, hosted audience of print executives across three major industry segments:  Transactional/Transpromo; Direct Mail/Marketing; and Books/Publishing.

“The Inkjet Summit will serve as a select gathering for printing industry executives and vendors committed to building relationships and developing solutions that work and produce revenue,” explains Charlie Pesko, executive vice president of nGage Events. “Our focus is on providing strategic insights and tactical solutions needed to navigate the most critical inkjet trends and technologies impacting businesses today. By educating our audience about technology, software, processes and applications, we will help empower confident decision-making on inkjet deployments.”

The conference program will be lead by industry expert Charlie Corr and a team of top industry consultants, leaders and digital printing visionaries. Some of the hot topics being covered will include:

  • State of the Inkjet Printing Market
  • Review of Inkjet Technology Options
  • More Than Print Technology…Software, Supplies, Feeding & Finishing Solutions
  • Economics
  • Process & Market Transformation
  • Future Markets
  • Application Breakout Sessions and Case Studies

“Inkjet is the digital printing technology that will enable the next era of Print-on-Demand”, says Charlie Corr. “Attendance at this event is a must to understand how you can leverage this disruptive technology and the solutions that it provides.”

“I can’t think of two more well-known, visionary figures in the digital printing space to be involved with Inkjet Summit 2013 than Charlie Pesko and Charlie Corr,” adds Mark Michelson, long-time editor-in-chief of Printing Impressions. “Both men were at the forefront of the growth and industry adoption of digital, on-demand printing, and possess unique insight into how inkjet printing technologies will reshape the graphic arts industry. This one-of-a-kind summit will provide buyers and sellers with focused educational and networking opportunities, as well as a roadmap for their future prosperity.”

The Inkjet Summit has been developed by nGage Events with the support of its publishing partner, Printing Impressions, a magazine published by North American Publishing Co. (NAPCO). This event brings together the top publisher serving the graphic arts industry with the leading producer of hosted model events.

“The timing couldn’t be more right for our invitation-only Inkjet Summit,” notes Mark Subers, senior vice president and group publisher of The Printing Impressions Group, which consists of Printing Impressions, In-plant Graphics and Package Printing magazines. “Inkjet printing is a disruptive technology that has created a lot of confusion in the marketplace. This unique event will enable printing executive attendees and our vendor sponsors to take a deep dive into what most industry pundits believe will rapidly become the dominant digital print production process.”

“Working closely with Xplor International, the leading association serving the electronic document systems marketplace, and other industry groups will also help provide a cross-segment view of inkjet printing.” According to Dave Leskusky, President of The Printing Impressions Group, “Teaming up with Xplor— which serves the transactional printing market—and its President/CEO Skip Henk as a key association partner, really rounds out the focus and expertise from which attendees and vendors can leverage and learn.”
