Taiwan's SunSui Print Leverages KBA Genius 52UV

Press release from the issuing company

They come in numerous variations, all created on the basis of various preferences and tastes. We are, however, not talking about the highly valued and entirely unique Taiwanese cuisine, which built on the numerous ethnic influences of Hoklo and Hakka cuisine, and the indigenous peoples of Taiwan.

Instead, this report focuses on the waterless sheet-fed offset printing press Genius 52UV, which - due to its invaluable material flexibility and unrivalled economy - has been doing excellent work for the Taipei-based printing company SunSui Print for over four years now.

A terrific recipe for success, which should be sampled by as many visitors as possible - that was the thought that had occurred to KBA-MePrint AG. The company's local dealership, Free Color Enterprise Co. Ltd., then went ahead and sent out invitations for the very first open house event in Taiwan. The many interested parties and press editors, who followed the call, were able to witness Genius 52UV in all its wide-ranging action live at the facility ofTaiwan's most famous UV print shop.

Fast, almost playfully, and with poetic simplicity - Genius 52UV processed 3D effect motifs on premium quality lenticular material, and effortlessly printed on PVC sheets with a thickness of up to 0.8 mm. Low start-up wastage, high productivity and economy, as well as the broad spectrum of print media that Genius 52UV can handle, make this next-generation waterless machine so unique to the market. That was the summarising statement of the practical presentation of Wen-Ho Wu, Head of Production at SunSui Print in Taipei, Taiwan. Wen-Ho Wu: "As everywhere else in the world, the margins for traditional offset products in Taiwan are shrinking. That was the reason, why we here at SunSui Print decided to set ourselves apart with premium quality products. When clients are looking for a specific product that other print shops simply cannot deliver, SunSui Print is who they turn to."

One Genius 52UV machine has been operating at the facility for over four years now. Printing on PVC, PET, and polycarbonates has become routine work, and new and exciting challenges are added every day. These might be 3D or animated flip images for US American animated movies, interior clothing labels made from waxed PVC, or a huge variety of products from collaborations with agencies or resellers in the sectors office and hospitality. The great variety of print products marketed by SunSui Print helps the company's clients to set themselves apart in their own markets. In addition to higher margins, Wen-Ho Wu also had reason to be proud of the very high level of customer satisfaction.
