INX and The Oldham Group expand distributor agreement

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL –– INX International Ink Co. and The Oldham Group recently agreed to expand their distributor partnership to include UV, traditional offset and UV flexo and water flexographic inks. The relationship between the two Illinois-based companies dates back to 2008 when The Oldham Group began offering INX heatset, UV and conventional offset products primarily under a private label agreement.

The Oldham Group has built a reputation on its outstanding technical support and service capabilities in prepress and the pressroom. After forming an electronics division in 1989, they invested in equipment, staff and training to become leading experts in many areas including CTP, color proofing and color management with on-staff G7 experts. In 2007, the company created a wide format division to meet growing demand for digital options among its customer base.

Known as Oldham Graphic Supply when the business began in 1951, the company has grown significantly.  The Oldham Group now operates in 15 states with offices in Chicago, Dallas and North Canton, Ohio, in addition to its headquarters in Springfield, Illinois.  Distribution and service coverage range from Houston to Milwaukee and east to Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

“The Oldham Group has a magnificent history and a solid customer base,” said Michael Brice, Director of Business Development for INX International. “As we have learned since we formed a strategic relationship four years ago, they have a great understanding on how to leverage their multiple offerings to deliver a total value proposition to their customers.  By expanding our channel program, this will give them and their customers’ access to more of the best products in the industry.”

Mike Garrison, Director of Sales for The Oldham Group, said Oldham customers have acknowledged their approval since the company embraced INX International’s significant R&D capabilities and robust technical support.

“The combined technical support of our companies is unparalleled in the industry,” Garrison remarked. “The positive impact has been immediate with the brand recognition of INX products, and the opportunity to bring a strong brand to our customers was paramount in our decision. INX compliments our portfolio and significantly enhances our ability to provide bundled purchasing efficiency to our customers business.”

INX International Ink Co. is the third largest producer of inks in North America with over 20 facilities in the U.S. and Canada, and is a global supplier as part of Sakata INX worldwide operations.  For more information, visit the Web site at www.INXinternational.com.
