Page Technology and ISL unveil Catfish Web to Print at PODi’s AppForum

Press release from the issuing company

Las Vegas, Nevada – Page Technology Group, in partnership with software developer ISL, unveil a new web-to-print platform called Catfish at PODi’s AppForum.   Designed for both B2B and B2C customers, Catfish is set to transform the web-to-print market with its user-friendly website front-end.

Catfish offers an intuitive design and simple user interface that overlay a wealth of complex features.  Professional printers can improve the automation and efficiency of their print production processes with Catfish whilst delivering a range of new personalized, multichannel communication services.

The Catfish platform features full mobile optimization, adjusting automatically to the screen size of the computer, tablet or mobile used to view it.  Its ease of use extends to the fact that no technical knowledge is needed to build document templates through its standard Adobe PDF design tools.  And a singe document template can then be used across both print and digital communications.  Catfish also offers full integration with social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter.

Richard Spencer, Partner at Page Technology Group says, “We’ve supported all the leading web-to-print platforms over the last few years and have found Catfish to be unique.  Other platforms focus on the backend part of print production and are less concerned with the website interface.  Catfish has all the vital backend functionality, but it offers a superb user-friendly front-end experience.  This means we can develop web-to-print sites for our clients much faster, thus reducing costs and helping our clients to realize a return on their investment much faster.”

Page Technology currently works for large printers such as Angstrom Graphics, based out of Cleveland, Ohio and Palmer Printing, based out of Chicago, Illinois.  Within its portfolio, the company manages a web-to-print store for GNC Health Centers; it supports Best Buy Canada and its gift card ordering website; and most recently, worked with kidsHeritage at their kiosk located in Epcot® to create unique, hardcover, custom-made books that can be ordered, printed, and bound for guests on site.

Founder and Managing Director of ISL, Douglas Gibson, adds, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Page Technology. They are a highly innovative operation with a deep understanding of the web-to-print and professional print market. We will work closely together to ensure professional printers and marketing professionals can expand their businesses through personalized web-to-print and variable data services.”

Catfish is wholly owned and developed by ISL, with Mapsoft Computer Services as a key strategic partner for the creation and generation of personalized files.
