Mail-Well and Rainier Color Sign Letter of Intent for Acquisition

Press release from the issuing company

March 12, 2004 -- Mail-Well, Inc., one of North America’s leading producers of visual communications, has entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent to acquire Rainier Color. Mail-Well will make a final announcement on the state of the acquisition once the results of the due diligence are complete. The Seattle Mail-Well facility, Graphic Arts Center-Seattle, is expected to merge with the Rainier Color facility upon successful completion of the due diligence. Alan Grossberg, General Manager of Graphic Arts Center-Seattle states, “This is an exciting opportunity to create a true center for the graphic arts community in Seattle. There is a natural synergy between the two companies’ capabilities, which once combined will provide customers with a range of prepress and print production benefits that is currently unparalleled in the Seattle marketplace.”
