Press release from the issuing company

Hurst, TX - Allegra Marketing - Print - Mail of Southeast Ohio has partnered with the Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation (EDSF), an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries, to administer a new scholarship at Muskingum University for $1,000 for the 2013 academic year. The scholarship will support a student preparing for a career in the printing and graphic communications industry.

Tom and Jason Heins, owners of Allegra Marketing - Print - Mail of Southeast Ohio, said, “We are pleased to establish this scholarship at Muskingum University, which we hope will encourage young people to pursue careers in printing, graphic arts, document technology and marketing and communications. In today’s challenging economy, we are honored to be able to work with others in the industry to help keep the door to a college education open for deserving students.”

Brenda Kai, EDSF executive director, said, “This new scholarship is part of our new Legacy Scholarship program, which is designed to enable small businesses to become involved with scholarships benefiting students and colleges in their particular geographic area or hometown. We are delighted that Tom and Jason Heins have selected EDSF to administer their scholarship.”

EDSF will begin accepting applications in mid-January 2013. Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, honors received and participation in school activities, along with community service and organizational affiliations. Eligibility requirements include a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale and full-time student status for the Digital Media Design program at Muskingum University.
