Software Marketing Associates appoints Sean O’Connor to Director of Marketing

Rocky Hill, CT – Software Marketing Associates, Inc. (SMA), the developers of The Pro-Mail® Fulfillment Solution, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean O’Connor to the newly created role of Director of Marketing. In this role, he will oversee the development of the firm’s marketing strategy and the execution of all associated activities.

“Sean has always done a great job helping our users and prospects understand our value-proposition and maximize the benefits that Pro-Mail affords them”, said SMA President Denise Lunden. “We’ve appointed Sean to this new role in order to take our message to a larger audience. The marketplace is changing and presents us with many exciting opportunities. Leveraging Sean’s years of experience will enable us to make the most of them”.

“We’ve always had a great story to tell.” says Sean, “The market has changed quite a bit in recent years. My job will be to ensure that the story is getting heard by everyone that needs to hear it”, he continued. 

In addition to assuming responsibility for all of the company’s marketing initiatives, Sean will continue to work with a number of SMA’s key accounts. “Helping our users to identify and capitalize on fulfillment opportunities using the tools available in Pro-Mail has always been a rewarding component of my work”, comments Sean.  “This aspect of my work will continue in my new role, albeit on a different scale”.

Mr. O’Connor holds a BA and MBA from the University of Connecticut and has worked with Software Marketing Associates, Inc. in various capacities since 1997, most recently as Director of Sales.  In addition to his expertise with SMA’s products, he brings to the position in-depth knowledge of the direct marketing and fulfillment industries.
