Mark Baker-Homes has moved from global pre-press manufacturer Glunz & Jensen where he was responsible for its worldwide inkjet programme. He took it from inception to the 1,000th inkjet CTP system sold in October last year.

Founder and Managing Director of Intec Printing Solutions, Ian Melville states: “Glunz & Jensen is renowned for its leading position in the graphics industry, and has a reputation as the Mercedes of manufacturers to the pre-press sector. When we looked to expand our operations, we wanted to bring someone on board who possessed genuine strengths in the industry, and who had the pedigree to really make a difference to our customers, our relationships and with that – strengthen our business.”

Mr Baker-Homes explains: “Previously I have worked with partners throughout the world, concentrating on how to add value to their businesses. Business is a two-way relationship and I work with our partners to help develop business models with them that complement their organisations and improve their product offerings. This creates a stable relationship from which to grow.”

Mr Melville adds: “Intec Printing Solutions has an established portfolio of products, with some really exciting new additions that will be rolled out during the course of 2013. I believe this will give our partners, both new and old, a fantastic opportunity over the coming year. As we enter the new year, Intec Printing Solutions is looking to build stronger relationships with its partners and to really help them develop their businesses. We believe that with Mark’s background we can achieve that, and strengthen our team here.

He concludes: “So, with the additions we made to our technical team in December, Mark joining us and with the new products we will roll out over 2013 - we forecast capturing still greater market share over the next 12 months.”
