Press release from the issuing company

Rockaway New Jersey – January 3, 2013 -- Graphic Art Systems, Inc., a U.S. based developer and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, today announced the completed installation of its Eco-Eagle Cold Foil system at Color Optics by Arcade, a division of Arcade Marketing. Located in Rockaway New Jersey, Color Optics by Arcade is a specialty packaging provider, serving the cosmetic and consumer products industries with highly decorated packaging solutions.

"Choosing the right technology solution and manufacturer to fulfill it was of utmost importance to us," stated Joe Cicci, President of Color Optics. After investigating all the cold foil solutions currently in the market Color Optics realized it needed to go with a company that had a long history in the design and manufacturing of foil equipment, a comprehensive knowledge of the entire foiling process and one which had outstanding references from its customers. Its choice of Eagle Systems, with over 20 years of experience with hot and cold foiling equipment, became obvious.

Color Optics’ Vice President, Manufacturing, Mike Pasciolla was impressed with the simplicity of Eco-Eagle’s technology and the professionalism of the installation technicians. The machine was installed on the Color Optics’ Heidelberg CD102 in 3 days as promised by Mike King, President and CEO of Graphic Art Systems Inc. The machine was ready to go into live commercial production immediately after installation and produced a beautiful piece.

Eco-Eagle Cold Foil System Background

Mike King, designer and inventor of all Eagle System Foil Machines, started at the early age of 15 years old, working for his father’s company building a hot foil puller called Brighten Leaf Pullers which were attached to small automatic die cutting presses and clam shells. Within a couple of years he realized there was a need for a large format foil solution so he created the first electronic foil indexer called the BOA System. In 2007 he started developing and created the Eco-Eagle Cold Foil System an in-line foiling solution for offset printing presses which has become the solution of choice for many printers worldwide. With his knowledge and technology he has proven to be "The Foil Expert."
