SpectroPad Wins iF Product Design Award

BARBIERI electronic is proud to announce to be awarded with iF product design award 2013 for their Spectro Pad – out of 3.011 submissions. This award confirms: the new Barbieri SpectroPad besides functionality, performance and innovation also in regards to design is absolutely outstanding.

Since 60 years iF design award is a worldwide recognized trademark for superior design. Assessment criteria for the judging panel have been quality of design, finishing, choice of materials, degree of innovation, environmental impact, functionality, ergonomics, visualization of application, safety, brand value and branding as well as aspects of universal design.

This prestigious award emphasizes and confirms the highest level of innovation, uniqueness and design of the SpectroPad.
In addition to the "European Digital Press Association (EDP) Award" and "Instrument Business Outlook (IBO) Portable Instrument Design Gold Award" the iF design award 2013 is the highlight for SpectroPad.
The iF design awards will be given at the iF design awards night on February 22nd 2013 at the "BMW Welt" in Munich (Germany).

The SpectroPad is the brand new color measuring device for professional digital printing which contains several innovations which are unique. Thanks to WiFi data transmission and being battery powered this is the first portable device based on the well-known Barbieri quality. Its 6mm measuring aperture makes it the ideal device for large format- flatbed and industrial printing on most different substrates. The integrated color display interacts with the operator and gives immediate feedback about measurements. The new Barbieri "qb-technology" enables measurement condition M1 and additionally M0 as well as M2 according to ISO 13655-2009.
