Equipment Line-Up at IADD·FSEA Odyssey Hits Record Levels

Press release from the issuing company

A comprehensive line-up of machinery and programming hits record levels at the upcoming 2013 IADD·FSEA Odyssey, May 1-3, 2013, Nashville Convention Center, Nashville, TN, USA. The 2013 Odyssey, with a theme of "Plug In," showcases the latest trends and technologies to attendees in the fields of diecutting/diemaking, print finishing, folding carton, corrugated and specialty markets.

Among several pieces of state-of-the-art machinery featured in educational sessions on the TechshopTM floor, the Odyssey is pleased to announce that Bobst North America will showcase the NOVACUT 106E diecutter. Built on quality and productivity, the NOVACUT 106E delivers versatility and performance in one cost-effective package. The Odyssey also will feature the Kluge EHF foil stamping, embossing and diecutting press with a stronger main frame, stronger platen bolts and heavier side arms, giving the press greater impressional strength.

Adding to the impressive list of equipment operating on the Techshop floor will be the Gerber high-powered combination flat and rotary laser system; the Signature folder/gluer from American International Machinery; a tabletop Cast and Cure Unit from Breit Technologies; the Crest foil stamper/diecutter with new laser scanner safety technology from My Press Needs; the Serrapid mounting system from SHARP International; a C-170 corrugated diecutting machine from Baysek; a Preco automated converting flatbed diecutter and rotary converting platform and the MK21060SER DUOPRESS foil stamping, embossing and diecutting press from Masterwork.

The Odyssey's one-of-a-kind TechshopTM environment simulates a working production shop floor where technical sessions on diecutting, diemaking, folding/gluing, foil stamping/embossing, and other print finishing processes are taught on-press throughout the three-day event. Programming such as Diecutting Press Synchronization, Zero-Point Patching Procedure, Matching Tooling to the Procedure, Foil Stamping Tips for Difficult Stocks and Cast & Cure/Cold Foil Applications and Prototyping are just some of the programs in which attendees will have the opportunity to participate.
