For the third year running, Condat is nominated for the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) Awards thanks to its water management.

Every year, the European Commission rewards excellent work by EMAS registered organizations in environmental protection. The EMAS Awards recognize outstanding achievements in a specific aspect of environmental management.

For the 2012 European EMAS Awards, Condat, part of the Lecta Group, is the only French company nominated for water efficiency and water quality management, in the "large organizations" category.

Water is vital for Condat's operations and the company takes special care to preserve this natural resource. Condat has implemented numerous actions, reducing water usage by 40% and returning close to 95% of the water used to the environment.

The Awards ceremony, to be celebrated the 29th November in Brussels, will highlight outstanding performance in matters of sustainability by public and private organizations.
