Sakurai Fall Open House Exceeds Expectations

Press release from the issuing company

(SCHAUMBURG, IL)   Building on the success of their exhibit at SGIA '12 last month in Las Vegas, Sakurai hosted an upbeat and well attended 3-day open house at its National Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois from November 5-7. Participating customers, prospects, dealers and suppliers had an opportunity to view live demonstrations of offset, specialty effects and printed electronics printing in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Highlighting the open house were live press demonstrations of Sakurai's new 15,000 IPH 480SD Series offset, a 23 58 x 31" four color press ideal for short makeready, fast turnaround printing; Sakurai's MS-80SD cylinder screen press with an optical camera registration system running printed electronics and overlay applications; and a 28" x 40" MS-102AII cylinder screen press producing spot coating and specialty effects printing on a special "touch and feel" demo poster.

"We were pleasantly surprised at the level of interest and enthusiasm for both offset and screen press equipment," said Greg Friesser, General Manager, Sakurai USA, Inc. "Participating Sakurai dealers in attendance including Independent Graphic Services, (Montgomery, AL), Graphco (Solon, Ohio), Sanjo Sales and Service (Hilliard, OH) and DMI Graphic Solutions (Mt. Holly, NC) along with our own sales team will be busy for months following up with quotations and closing deals."

Ryuta Sakurai, President of Sakurai USA and Sakurai Graphic Systems Japan was on hand to offer his support and to personally welcome customers, dealers and guests. And a number of valued Sakurai suppliers were present to support the demos and meet with customers including Diversified Graphic Machinery and SIMCO to name a few.
