Presstek Promotes John Meyer to VP Marketing

Press release from the issuing company

Greenwich, CT – Presstek, Inc., a leading supplier of digital offset printing solutions to the printing and communications industries, today announced that John Meyer has been promoted to Vice President Marketing, reporting directly to Chairman, President & CEO Stan Freimuth. Meyer joined Presstek in March of 2010 and has held director-level roles in Presstek's CTP business. Prior to joining Presstek, Meyer served in a number of sales and marketing roles at Fujifilm USA.

"In addition to a practical business approach, John brings a strong product management and marketing background to his new position," said Freimuth. "He understands our industry well, having spent the bulk of his career at Fujifilm where he held the position of Vice President of Marketing for the Imaging Group for several years prior to joining Presstek. He will be a valuable addition to our Leadership Team."

In his new role, Meyer will be responsible for driving Presstek's worldwide product strategy and marketing efforts. Now under the ownership of American Industrial Partners and with strong growth objectives, the marketing function will play a critical role in Presstek's future. "John is the ideal leader for this vital-and revitalized-function," Freimuth added.

In a related move, Presstek also announced the appointment of Ralph Jenkins to Director of Sales, CTP and Indirect Channels. Jenkins joined Presstek in 2006 as Director of Channel Distribution. Prior to that, Jenkins spent 22 years at Agfa in a variety of sales and marketing roles. In this expanded position, Jenkins will retain his dealer management role as well as assuming Meyer's previous responsibilities in CTP sales. He will report to Joe Demharter, Presstek's Vice President of Sales.

"As Presstek moves forward our CTP dealer channel will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth targets and providing the level of support our customers expect," said Demharter. "I am delighted to have Ralph serving in this important role. His skills and background make him the right person to lead this important business."
