Mortsel, Belgium – 8 March 2004 – Agfa announced that the largest newspaper printer in Denmark, Trykkompagniet, has purchased two violet :Polaris XTV CtP systems and the new :Arkitex workflow from Agfa. The company also signed a four-year agreement to use Agfa's :Lithostar plates and extended warranty programme. New wave of investments. Among the first to convert to CtP from a film workflow, Trykkompagniet has been using Agfa's :Polaris 100 CtP systems for years. One of those systems will be upgraded with a violet laser diode. The company is also upgrading its current workflow to :Arkitex, Agfa's newest newspaper workflow. "Agfa's new workflow system, :Arkitex, will help make our automation simpler and gives us advanced production planning techniques," said Trykkompagniet's managing director Jørgen Kloster. ":Arkitex and the new :Polaris systems will help us sustain the growth we expect to achieve." :Arkitex can easily accommodate any size operation and it integrates easily with Agfa or non-Agfa systems.
