Press release from the issuing company

Machines were installed in South Africa at Spec Systems, Label & Litho, and JMB Labels

CAPE TOWN, South Africa – ROTOCON today announced a week of three successful ROTOCONTROL finishing machine installations in South Africa at Spec Systems, Label & Litho, and JMB Labels. The installations were performed by the local South African service technicians from ROTOCON.

Installed at Spec Systems was an RSD 340mm web width die cutting, slitting/rewinding finishing machine with a registration/insetting control system. Spec Systems is a turnkey Auto ID solutions provider with more than 32 years' experience providing label, barcode, RFID and identity card printing products and solutions.

An RSC 440mm web width vertical inspection slitter/rewinder inspection machine for unsupported film was installed in JMB Labels' production floor. Located in Johannesburg, JMB Labels produces bar code, printed and self-adhesive labels, pressure-sensitive tape and contract packaging.

Label & Litho received an RSC 340mm web width vertical inspection slitter/rewinder inspection machine, their second ROTOCONTROL investment. Label & Litho is the main supplier of barcode and RFID labels in Northern Gauteng. The company is also the largest supplier of magnetic and other types of parking tickets nationally and aims to deliver customised printing to meet unique customer requests.

Patrick Aengenvoort of ROTOCON comments: "All three converters were impressed by the Bosch Rexroth servo technology and the ease of operator training to run the machines. Training at each of the 3 sites was completed in one day. It was a successful week for ROTOCON and our South African customers."
