Press release from the issuing company

PretonSaver helps Print Audit Premier office equipment dealers to further control and reduce their customers' printing costs

Tel Aviv, Israel and Calgary, Alberta – Preton, the leading provider of printing cost reduction software, announced today that the company has joined Print Audit's Maven partnership program.

Print Audit's Maven partnership program is designed to bring exclusive benefits to Print Audit Premier members. Premier is a newly launched subscription plan that gives office equipment dealers virtually unlimited access to Print Audit's MPS and print management solutions. Through the program, Premier members also receive exclusive access to additional benefits offered through Print Audit's Maven partners.

Preton's PretonSaver software optimizes the amount of ink and toner consumed during the printing process. PretonSaver uses Preton's core Pixel Optimizer technology, which intelligently identifies and removes wasteful pixels. PretonSaver significantly reduces ink and toner consumption without visibly impacting output quality or interfering with end user processes. PretonSaver also provides a robust set of user focused reporting data, including page coverage calculations, and includes extensive print policy enforcement capabilities.

"We are pleased to welcome Preton to our Maven partnership program," said John MacInnes, President and CEO of Print Audit. "PretonSaver's toner reduction capabilities and page coverage measurement features will add significant value to our partners. PretonSaver is the type of innovative product that our Maven program is designed to help our partners uncover."

"Preton provides truly unique value in the increasingly competitive Managed Print Service space, where differentiation is critical to winning deals and maintaining profitability," explained Tim Bohn, Preton's Vice President of North America Operations. "The Print Audit Maven program is the perfect vehicle for helping leading MPS providers to find unique products and value propositions. We are happy to be a part of such a forward thinking initiative."
