John Foley to Speak at LPIA Innovation Conference

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

Wilmington, MA – On Friday, November 9 at 2:15 pm, John Foley, Jr. will be speaking at the LPIA Innovation Conference in San Diego, California.

The label and packaging industry can greatly benefit from social media. Many companies are not only surviving, but growing. This cannot happen, however, without an inclusion of new technologies – social media being one of them. John Foley whole-heartedly believes in this philosophy.

His presentation, entitled, "Connect, Build, Sustain: Growing Your Business with Social Media," will highlight the importance of understanding how your target audience uses social media.

"I am thrilled to be afforded this opportunity because social media for business – your business – is something I truly believe in," said John. "I will also discuss ways that you can drive traffic from your social networks to your website. This is a key step that many companies miss - but that is an essential step for generating leads and sales."

John's presentation will touch upon important topics such as:

  • Knowing what networks your audience uses
  • Knowing when they use them
  • Knowing how they use them

John will also be stressing the importance of having a plan behind your social media efforts. "I cannot stress enough the importance of a carefully crafted plan fleshed out to best benefit your company," said John. Your accounts will need to be updated regularly with engaging, educational and inspiring content. A sports car is no good if there is no gas in the tank."
