Totalpost Scoops Exporter of the Year award

Totalpost Services Plc was crowned as CN Group 2012 Exporter of the Year at a glittering ceremony held at The Rheged Centre last night.
 
Around 200 Cumbrian business people came together to celebrate a year of hard work and continued success in what continues to be a difficult climate.
 
Totalpost fought off several other firms in the most competitive year in this category to date to take the title. The firm were commended for their hard work in a year where they increased turnover by 50%.
 
Totalpost is one of the biggest manufacturers of franking machine ink cartridges in Europe with offices in Warrington, Cumbria and Swindon. The company took the step of bringing the manufacturing in house in late 2011 and today they produce up to 1,000 cartridges every day from their Cumbria base.
 
Notably the firm also put a great deal back into the local community by providing wholly company funded apprenticeship schemes and support to local schools and charities. Additionally the company are keen to share their exporting knowledge with other firms and support the Cumbrian Export Club. Originally set up by Business Link, David Hymers, managing Director of Totalpost is the vice Chairman of the club.
