Alexandria, Va., March 26, 2004 — MAN Roland has announed that they will present two scholarships to the 2004 GATF/PIA and NAPL Management and Leadership Institute. The scholarships are being given in the name of Harry V. Quadracci, late Chairman of the Board, Quad Graphics, Inc., WI and Larry Perkins, late president, P & P Press, Peoria, IL and Chairman of the Executive Development Program Committee. Recipients receive full tuition and a $500 accommodations stipend to the 5-day Management Leadership Institute, scheduled for June 8-12 at the Waukesha County Technical College, Pewaukee, WI. A comprehensive executive development curriculum for emerging leaders, this year’s program is being run concurrently with NAPL under the banner of Management and Leadership Institute. Applicants must have worked in the industry for at least five years, work for a PIA member company, and demonstrate leadership potential. To apply, complete an application, secure a letter of recommendation from an immediate superior and submit both by May 1. A selection committee will review all applications and choose the recipients. The two winners will be announced May 8, 2004. This is the second year MAN Roland has supported the industry by helping to develop the industry’s next generation of leaders thorough these scholarships.
