WoodWing at IFRA World Publishing Expo 2012

Press release from the issuing company

At the World Publishing Expo 2012, taking place in Frankfurt from October 29-31, WoodWing will present its recently acquired digital asset management solution Elvis DAM, integrated with the brand-new version 8 of WoodWing's multi-channel publishing system Enterprise. At Booth 681, publishers can see how WoodWing enables an efficient, media-rich, multi-channel publishing workflow.

Efficiency in all aspects – that's the mantra of the day for newspaper and magazine publishers worldwide. Aiming to control costs, to secure current business models and to tap the business opportunities offered by new channels such as mobile and tablets, publishers seek to leverage existing teams, resources, technologies and processes as well as to efficiently re-use existing content.

"It's time that publishers look for solutions that enable them to address these issues in an efficient and timely manner," said Hans Janssen, CEO of WoodWing Software. "Workflow efficiency, flexibility and openness to integrate with existing systems as well as a sound media-neutral approach are the core requirements that a future-proof publishing system has to fulfill. The World Publishing Expo is the perfect opportunity to get a live overview of the capabilities of our publishing system Enterprise and Elvis DAM." To arrange a demonstration, WoodWing offers an appointment form at www.woodwing.com/en/Landing/ifra/registration.

The recently released version 8 of Enterprise offers enhanced collaboration and planning, and leverages a new server architecture. Customers will benefit from significantly increased performance and even more flexibility to integrate with third-party systems.

He brings another 20 years of experience in publishing technologies and workflows to the WoodWing team.
