duomedia Enters U.S. Market – PR partnership with Gene Hunt

Tuesday, October 09, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

duomedia, a leading agency specializing in public relations and marketing communications for graphic arts, industrial, and technology markets, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Gene Hunt, an accomplished communications professional based near Boston, Massachusetts in the U.S. The partnership will expand duomedia's range of services on a global basis, supporting the agency's Europe-based clients in the U.S. as well as assisting U.S. companies gain entry into Europe.

"We have worked with Gene for many years as a copywriter and editor and built a solid relationship based on respect and confidence," said Anja D'Hondt, Managing Partner, duomedia. "Gene co-founded and built a successful PR business earlier with Matter Communications, and we are pleased to work with him again. Our partnership is a perfect illustration of our 'engaging people' philosophy – whereby we add value, create interaction and increase bottom line results for clients, media, partners and our own team."

duomedia was founded in 1999 and has its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium – Europe's capital. The agency's approach is to work with local representatives who can provide copywriting and localization in their language, along with managing local media relations and event support. duomedia currently has representatives in London, Munich, Frankfurt, Milan and Barcelona – as well as freelance consultants and translators worldwide.

"This partnership with duomedia is an ideal way for clients to bridge the gap between their U.S. and European PR campaigns," said Gene Hunt. "My experience working for global technology firms in the U.S. and Europe, combined with time spent building a full-service PR firm, provides a broader, two-way perspective that will add value to client relationships. In addition to expanding duomedia's established graphic arts and industrial practice, I expect to provide an entry point for the agency in other growing tech markets, such as cleantech and renewable energy."

The new partnership has already been put into practice as Gene is supporting some duomedia clients with press events and interviews at Graph Expo in Chicago this week. duomedia looks forward to a long and successful cooperation with Gene – and to extend its services to the U.S. market, where the agency has numerous contacts and connections in place already.
