Konica Minolta demonstrates commitment to print production market with 95% stand size increase

Ipex 2014 is set to deliver once again as the key international print media and communications event in 2014, with more than 63% of the available floorspace already contracted. Since June 2012, a further 46 suppliers have confirmed their attendance at Ipex 2014, pushing the total number of primary exhibitors to over 200. The latest sign-ups equate to 2,500m2 of additional floorspace, with Konica Minolta committing to a 95% increase in its stand size compared to Ipex 2010.

Leading industry suppliers that have contracted over the past three months, include: Atlantic Zeiser, Autobond, Bindery Machinery Services, Edale, Impika (which increased its footprint), KOMFI, Konica Minolta Sensing, Lamina System, Meccanotecnica, Red Tie, Rilecart, Rima System, GAB, Gammerler, SBL Group, Roland DG, Advanced Dynamic, Jenton International, Tecnau and Sefas.

"With 18 months to go until the show opens its doors at the London ExCeL International Exhibition and Conference Centre, the global print and communications industry is once again demonstrating its commitment to Ipex 2014," comments Trevor Crawford, Event Director. "Momentum is continuing to build towards Ipex 2014, with more of the top 100 exhibitors reconfirmed for Ipex 2014 than ever before at this stage in the booking cycle. The positive feedback we continue to receive from suppliers highlights that Ipex 2014 is well on course to host at least 1,000 exhibitors from around the globe."

Olaf Lorenz, General Manager - International Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Europe), says: "Ipex 2010 proved a very successful event for Konica Minolta, and highlighted the demand for our solutions. The 95% increase to our stand space at Ipex 2014 demonstrates our confidence in strengthening our position in the production printing market." He continues: "I have no doubt that Ipex 2014 in its new location at the London ExCeL will provide great opportunities for the entire industry, not only with the flexibility of the exhibition space, but also the efficient hotel and transport infrastructure."

"Ipex will showcase the very best in print and where it sits in the contemporary marketing mix. With London boasting one of the largest marketing and creative communities in the world, Ipex 2014 will attract a wider audience than ever before," concludes Trevor Crawford. "Ipex has a rich heritage as a print exhibition, but our vision is to deliver an event that celebrates print's past, reflects its present and - most importantly - signposts its future."
